Description

Use

It is highly effective in destroying all external parasites such as fleas, ticks and lice in all stages of development. Especially recommended in the case of parasitic infestation, as well as in routine prevention.

Do not use on any young animals up to 3 months of age, lactating bitches and cats. The product must always be kept out of the reach of children and well away from any foodstuffs.

Application method

In view of how they actually work, insecticidal shampoos are effective on application only. The biologically active substance in their composition acts while applied onto the skin. In order to achieve this goal – the destruction of insects, the application time cannot be too short (5 – 10 minutes). Please follow strictly the instructions for use, and in particular ensure the minimum time required for the shampoo to be left on the animal’s skin.
In the case of a particularly intense infestation, the application time should be doubled. After rinsing off the shampoo the biologically active substances are also removed, so despite the removal of all parasites, the new ones might appear shortly. Reinvasion of parasites may be effectively warded off by their thorough eradication from the animal’s immediate environment with the aid of aerosol or powder insecticides. Insecticidal or BIO collar should also be applied as an additional preventive measure.

Not to be applied on the oozing lesions on the skin. Not to be applied in animals allergic to its active ingredient.

Hair care

When using a shampoo bath (not only the insecticidal one) we must be fully aware that it removes from the skin and from the hair their natural lipid coating, therefore desiccating the skin. Therefore, it is essential to make use of the shampoos containing additives that remain on the hair and the skin after rinsing, lightly greasing it, aiding the formation of a natural lipid film. AKIM insecticide shampoo has such additives. For the long-haired dogs, special additives like Collagen are used, as it improves overall condition of the hair, gives a perfect shine to the dog’s coat and makes combing much easier.
